Christmas came early this year; our team has been working harder than ever before to keep up with new feature requests. As such, we're making step-based progress as we head towards an all-in-one Messenger marketing solution with the following additions to our product:

New Growth Tools

Chat Plugin

The Messenger chat plugin is nothing new. However, if you're only using the chat plugin to answer incoming questions then you're missing out.

How does it work?

We have build the chat plugin to allow for customisation. This means that you'll be able to:

  1. Adjust the colour of the plugin

  2. Determine whether the plugin is opened or closed by default

  3. Define a welcome message

Here's how that looks like:

Try the Messenger chat plugin in our demo store.

What are the benefits?

By using our Messenger chat plugin you'll be able to gain a new contact every time someone engages with you. This enables you to build a bigger audience, send out more messages and increase sales even further.

New Engagement Tools

Welcome Message

From now on discount codes will be distributed on Messenger.

How does it work?

Before, your website visitor would view our popup and click on the Send to Messenger button. Afterwards they would see the discount code inside the popup. Going forward, we will send the discount code directly on Messenger as soon as someone clicks on the button.

Here's how this interaction looks like:

Try the welcome message interaction by clicking on the Send to Messenger button in our demo store popup.

What are the benefits?

Engaging your visitors directly on Messenger after the opt-in makes them familiar with the new channel. The discount code can be received by clicking on a quick reply button. This interaction provides you with the user profile name & picture as well as a new 24+1 permission.

Not familiar with Facebook's 24+1 policy?

The 24+1 permission is gathered every time there is an interaction with the Facebook user and enables you to send a messages during 24 hours and afterwards one more single message. Keeping the conversation going is therefore key for maximising your ROI.

If you've been using our coupon popup and cart reminder campaign, then there's a good chance that you build up a Messenger contact list. Contacts are automatically placed on the cart reminder campaign.

How does it work?

Now, you can also send custom messages to your total Messenger contact list. Just follow these 2 steps:

1. Create your message.

Our broadcasting feature allows you to send a text message with accompanied with an URL button. You could for example announce the arrival of a new collection or the start of a new sale.

Think about your broadcast as a unique opportunity to instantly reach your audience with an important, time sensitive update that is relevant for the total audience.

2. Broadcast your message

Once you're all set you can broadcast your message 🎉

What are the benefits?

Broadcasting is an extremely powerful way to instantly reach your contacts with important announcements. Experiment with different approaches and benchmark your results with similar announcements via email. You should be getting 3-4x better engagement results and more sales as a result.
